NOTES:
The vehicle speed signal can be picked up from a genuine electric speedometer speed sensor (on suitable models with a 0 V-5 V alternate pulse signal from a vehicle speed sensor) or fit it up with the use of a mechanical speedometer pulse sensor sold separately (see our full range on offer) or simplified fit up with the proximity sensor that is also sold in store. The RPM signal is compatible with vehicles equipped with DC 12 V battery with full trigger CDI ignition. Points ignition models are generally not compatible. Gauge unit is suitable for electric Speedo equipped bikes (using a 0V-5V alternating pulse signals from the vehicles factory fitted speed sensor). Older model bikes using genuine speedometers that are originally equipped with speedometer cables (mechanical type speedometers). In this case you will require an optional electrical conversion adapter (adapter that converts the genuine speedometer gear drive rotation into a pulse signal) for eg. pulse converter or proximity sensor.
