Description

Crafted from high quality CNC'd T-6061 billet aluminium and finished in a black anodized coating, our Atlas Anti-glare 7/8" CNC Round Bar End Mirror Set is the perfect upgrade to oem mirrors. The premium look and feel is complemented with stainless steel bolts and bearings to prevent corrosion and optical grade 76mm round mirrors with a blue tint to prevent light strikes. The Atlas universal 7/8" bar end mirror kit includes 2 x mirrors (L&R) + fittings suitable to fit on any style motorcycle including Triumph, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Cafe Racers, Trackers, Scramblers and most custom motorcycles. Mirror mounting hardware can be switched for left or right or up or down installation. Add universal mirror blanking plugs and save.

Note that on the Royal Enfield Interceptor and some Triumph air cooled bikes the standard handlebars have a threaded plug welded inside and you may need to use a longer bolt with the bar ends supplied. Upgrading your handlebars to any brand and style we have for sale is advised.

Budget mirrors - fair quality for the price

For the price, these are an acceptable product, however they're not great quality in general. They are hard to secure to ensure that they do not rotate in the bar (the rubber expansion system doesn't seem to bite as well as aluminium styles I've used previously). As high torque is required, the cheap socket screws chew out. The rubber diameter is also too large (17.8mm O.D.) for a lot of aftermarket high-end aluminium clip-on tubes with thick walls (i.e. Vortex). This could be overcome by supplying with different diameter rubbers.
With all this being said they do look nice, with slight blue anti-glare tint to the mirror and the anodising on the body looks to be quite good. At least initially, the mirror socket feels firm so it shouldn't easily vibrate out of your selected position. Maybe add a washer under the nut, and replace the supplied socket screw with high-tensile and you'll have a perfectly fine low-cost solution. However I have since gone with a Rizoma product for better fit and finish.
